Certain designated businesses and operations in the City and County of Honolulu will be allowed to re-open on May 15, by following specific guidelines as detailed Emergency Order No. 2020-10.

“Food for Hawai‘i's ‘Ohana” Distribution for Newly Unemployed. FULL STORY

The City and County of Honolulu, in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Foodbank, the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation and the Bank of Hawaiʻi Foundation, is hosting bi-weekly food drives providing high-quality food products for 4,000 households at each distribution. Individual COVID-19 Hardship Relief Program utilizing the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. FULL STORY

The program will provide funding support to Oʻahu residents in amounts up to $1,000 per month for qualified household expenses and up to $500 per month for qualified childcare expenses to alleviate economic hardships caused by the pandemic. Each household may receive benefits for up to 6 months with proper documentation. Qualified expenses will be paid directly to the vendor on behalf of the applicant.
